A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE; CITY ENGINEER TO GRANT TO THE WESTERN MNTUCKY
GAS COMPANY A PERMIT TO LAY A GAS MAIN IN -THE EAST GRASS PLOT OF NORTH 8TH STREET
BETIJEEN MADISON AND HARRISON STREETS AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON IMICH
SAID PERMIT SHALL BE GRANTED
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IMNTUCKY:
SECTION 1 That the City of Paducah authorize the City Engineer to grant
to the Western Kentucky Gas Company a permit to lay a gas giain'in the east grass
plot of North 8th Street between Madison and Harrison Streets.
That said permit be tranted upon condition that said company comply with
all the provisions of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE
DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREETS, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR
OTHER PUBLIC WAY OF THE CITY,OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR
ANY VIOLATION THEREOF," irhich wau adopted on September 4, 1946, as amended
thereafter, and also with t e provisions of another ordinance entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE FURTHER REGULATING THE DIGGING, OPENING OR RXCAVATING IN ANY
STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC WAY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
IENTUCKY3 AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF," which was adopted
on June 17, 1947.
SECTION.2 This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
