GAS C 1.1PANY A PERMIT TO LAY GAS RAINS IN THE GRASS PLOTS ON THE FOLLOWING STRE.TS:
NORTH SIDE OF GOODI+AN ROAD; EAST SIDE OF JOE CLIFTON DRIVE BETWEEN CLAY AND TRIMBL
STREETS AND NORTH SIDE OF TRID:BLE STREET EAST FROM JOE CLIFTON DRIVE, AND
PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SAID PERMITS SHALL BE GRANTED
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COD34ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah authorize the City Engineer to grant
to the Western Kentucky Gas Company a permit to lay gas mains in the grass plots
on the following streets:
(1) To install 440 feet of 4'" gas main on the
north side of Trimble in the grass plot east
from Joe Clifton Drive.
(2) Install 643 feet of 4" gas main running East in
the grass plot on the north side of Goodman Road.
(3) To install 500 feet of 6 5/811 gas main on the east
side of Joe Clifton Drive in the grass plot between
Clay Street and Trimble Street.
That said permit be granted upon condition that said company comply with all the
provisions of the ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DIGGING,
OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER
PUBLIC WAY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY
VIOLATION THEREOF", which was adopted on September 4, 1946, and as amended
thereafter, and also with the provisions of another ordinance entitled: "AN
ORDINANCE FURTHER REGULATING THE DIGGING, OPENING, OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET,
SIDEWALK. GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC WAY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF, WHICH WAS ADOPTED ON JUNE
17, 1947.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
