HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 778, No Ordinance Number778 v -� AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES FOR CERTAIN DISTANCES NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF NORTH NINTH STREET AND JEFFERSON STREET, ALSO ON CERTAIIti PORTIONS OF SOUTH SIXTH STREET, BROAD STREET AND BRIDGE STREET; PRE- SCRIBING THE PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONTERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company or cor- poration to at any time park or leave standing a vehicle of any kind on either side of North Ninth Street from the north property line of Jefferson Street 100 feet north towards -Monroe Street; and on the north side of Jefferson Street from the east property line of North Ninth Street 150 feet east towards Eighth Street; on the east side of North Ninth Street from the south property line of Jefferson Street 150 feet south towards Broadway; on the south side of Jefferson Street from the west property line of North Ninth Street 100 feet west towards Tenth Street. SECTIONT 2. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company or corporation to at any time park or leave standing a vehicle of any kind on either side of South Sixth Street from the south property line of Broad Street 150 feet south towards Elizabeth Street; on either side of Broad Street commencing 150 feet east of the east line of south Sixth Street (at Kolb Park) and extending to points 150 feet west of the west property line of Bridge Street; on either side of Bridge Street between Jarrett and Broad Streets. SECTION 3. Any persoh, firm, company or corporation violating any provision of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $1.00 nor more than :25.00 and each time any vehicle is parked on said streets, in that area prohibited by this ordinance, shall be construed as a separate offense. SECTION 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 5.
