A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO GRANT TO THE WESTERN KENTUCKY
GAS COMPANY A PERMIT TO LAY GAS MAINS IN THE GRASS PLOT ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
BROADWAY FROM POINT EAST OF K. U. PROPERTY TO 14TH STREET; THENCE NORTH ON THE EA
SIDE OF 14TH STREET TO MADISON STREET, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH
SAID PERMITS SHALL BE GRANTED
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C0M<�ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah authorize the City Engineer to grant to
the Western Kentucky Gas Company a permit to lay gas mains in the grass plots
on the north side of Broadway from point east of K. U. Property to 14th street;
thence north on the east side of 1L•th street bo Madison street, and that said
permit be granted upon condition said company comply with all the provisions of a
ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING
IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC WAY OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF", which
was adopted on September 4, 191-6, as amended thereafter, and also with the
provisions of another ordinance entitled: "AIV PRDINANCE FURTHER REGULATING THE
DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR
OTHER PUBLIC WAY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR
ANY VIOLATION THEREOF", which was adopted on June 17, 1947.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
