HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 676, No Resolution NumberA RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO CARPENTERS UNION NO. 599 FOR CONTRIBUTING TIME AND LABOR TO CONSTRUCTION OF AN OFFICE FOR THE CHIEF OF POLICE WHEREAS, Members of Carpenters Union No. 559 did volunteer to furnish without charge to the City of Paducah their labor and services in the construction of an office for the Chief of Police; and WHEREAS, the construction of said office has now been completed by members of Carpenters Union No. 559 and they, through their unselfish contributions have made it possible for the Chief of Police to have an attractive and well constructed private office; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah by this resolution publicly express its appreciation and gratitude to Carpenters Union No. 559 and especially the individual members thereof for their generosity in contributing their time and labor in the construction of a private office for the Chief of Police of the City of Paducah; and that said Union and its members be complimented upon their skill, industry and cooperation in completing said work.
