HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 661, No Ordinance Number661/ AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF EARL WILEY IN THE SUM OF $100.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF LOT NUMBER 11 AND LOT NUMBER 22 ON FISHER STREET BETWEEN 6TH STREET AND 9TH STREET IN PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED OF CONVEYANCE TO SAID PROPERTY WHEREAS, Oscar K. Talmage, Treasurer of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, has become the purchaser of the hereinafter described property of thedelinquent taxpayer under and pursuant to the provisions of KRS 92.670; and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has failed to redeem t be same within two years from the date of the sale thereof to the City Treasurer; and WHEREAS, deed to said property has been executed and delivered by said Treasurer to the City of Paducah as provided in KRS 92.760; and WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has received an offer for the hereinafter described real estate and it is deemed advisable to authorize the conveyance to the bidder for the amount offered by him. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the offer of Earl Wiley in the amount of $100.00 cash for the purchase of Lots Nos. 11 and 22 on Fisher Street between 6th street and 9th street, as shown by plat recorded in Plat Book "A", page $3, McCracken County Court Clerk's Office; and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said property for and on behalf of the City of Paducah but without covenant of warranty.
