HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 642, No Ordinance Number642 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALE PRICE FOR LOTS IN THE RUSHING ADDITION TO GROVE CEMETERY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. It appearing that a Plat of Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery.in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, being Plat No. 1, prepared by T. A. i - 'Bradley, City Engineer, dated June 1950, showing the subdivision of Blocks Nos. 6, 7 8 and 9, having been approved by ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners on June 12, 1951; and said ordinance having provided that the sale price for lots and graves in said addition shall be fixed by ordinance, the sale price for lots as shown on Plat No. 1 in the aforesaid blocks shall be the prices indicated on said Plat, and the Mayor of the City of Paducah shall endorse said Plat, and said endorsement shall be attested by the City Clerk, indicating that the prices shown on same were approved by this ordinance. Copies of said Plat No. 1 with the prices fixed thereon shall be kept in the office of the City Engineer and in the office of the Sexton of Oak Grove Cemetery, and said prices as so indicated shall �be the sale prices of the lots in said Addition until otherwise changed by ordinance. It is specifically provided, however, that the price of single graves and the cost and charges for opening graves shall not be affected by any indi- cation thereon on said Plat but shall be governed by the ordinance fixing said prices for Oak Grove Cemetery and its additions. SECTION 2.
