HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 63, No Ordinance NumberS i REPEALED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING RULES FOR THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FIXING THE TIME FOR THE HOLDING OF REGULAR MEETINGS OF SAID BOARD AND REPEALING ALL RULES AND ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREVITH," WHICH WAS ADOPTED Hf THE BOARD OF COMI3ISSIONERS ON THE 5TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1920, AND AMENDED ON AUGUST 20TH, 1946 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 13 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above,', which ordinance was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on the 5th day of January, 1920, and amended on August 26, 1946, be and the same is hereby amended so that said section as amended shall read as follows: "SECTION 13. The regular meetings of the Board of Commissioners shall be held at 7:30 o'clock P.M., on each Tuesday in the months of October, November, December, January, February and March, and shall be held at the same hour on the second and fourth Tuesdays in April, May, June, July, August and September, except when such meeting will fall on a legal holiday the regular meeting of said board will be held on the following Wednesday at the same hour. I Special or called meetings may be held upon the request of the Mayor or two members of the Board of Commissioners if written notice thereof is delivered to each member or to his or her residence or business address twenty-four (24) hours prior to the time that such meeting is to be held. Provided, however, a special or called meeting may be held at any date and hour without written notice provided the Mayor and all members of the Board of Commissioners are present at such meeting, Executed or accepted notices shall be filed with the City Clerk and spread upon the minutes." i SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after June 16, 1950.
