HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 622, No Ordinance Number62z� A�A�tl�i}I AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN 'i ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE NUMBER, RANKS AND MONTHLY SALARIES OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 11, 1951. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above be and the same is hereby amended so that said section shall read as follows: Passed by the Board of Commissioners February 5, 1952 Recorded by Sarah Thurman, City Clerk, February 5, 1952 "SECTION 1. The number and ranks of members of the Fire Department of the City of Paducah, and their monthly salaries, provided said salaries are not changed by any annual apportionment ordinance adopted hereafter, shall �qS3 be as follows: Gf Number of Monthly �� Position Positions Salary - Fire Chief 1 0335.00 - Asst. Fire Chief 1 280.00 2 Mechanic 1 275.00 7 �U Captain S 265.00 Q` Lieutenant 8 260.00 Engineer 10 255.00 Switchboard Operator 3 250.00 _. Firemen 21 250.00 Provided, however, that a new member of this Department, during his first year of service, shall receive a salary of x$240.00 per month, and upon completion of a year of satisfactory service, as determined by the City Manager on recommen- dation of the Fire Chief, his monthly salary shall be increased tothe applicable amount shown above.
