BEEKMAN IN THE SUM OF $300.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF LOT NUMBER 36 IN BLOCK 6 IN TERRELL'S WOODLAWN SUBDIVISION IN PADUCAH; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED OF CONVEYANCE TO SAID PROPERTY WHEREAS, Oscar K. Talmage, Treasurer of the City of Paducah., Kentucky, has become the purchaser of the hereinafter described property of the delinquent taxpay under and pursuant to the provisions of KRS 92.670; and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has failed to redeem the same within two years from the date of the sale thereof to the City Treasurer; and WHEREAS, deed to said property has been executed and delivered by said Treasurer to the City of Paducah as provided in KRS 92.760; and WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has received an offer for the hereinafter described real estate and it is deemed advisable to authorize the conveyance to the bidder for the amount offered by him. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the offer of S. G. Beekman in the amount of $300.00 cash for the purchase of Lot No. 36 in Block 6 in Terrell'. Woodlawn Subdivision in Paducah, Kentucky, as shown by plat of record in Plat Book At pages 254 and 255 in the McCracken County Court Clerkts Office, said lot situated o the southwest corner of the intersection of Eighth and Olive Streets; and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said property for and on behalf of the City of Paducah; but without covenant of warranty. SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. Mayor Pro Tem' Geo.
