HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 574, No Ordinance Number574 / AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE NUMBER, RANKS AND MONTHLY SALARIES OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The number and ranks of members of the Police Department of the City of Paducah, and their monthly salaries, provided said salaries are not changed by any annual apportionment ordinance adopted hereafter, shall be as follows: Provided, however, that a new member of this Department, during his first year of service, shall receive a salary of $240.00 per month, and upon completion of a year of satisfactory service, as determined by the gity Manager on recommendation of the Chief of Police, his monthly salary shall be increased to the applicable amount shown above. SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
