HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 563, No Ordinance Number563c� r A AN ORDIINJNCE AMENDING SECTION 6 6F AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF ATTORNEYS TO REPRESENT THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, IN LEGAL MATTERS; FIXING THE NUMBER TO BE EMPLOYED AND THE AMOUNT OF THEIR COMPENSATION; PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES OF SUCH ATTORNEYS; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COI.7hiIS3ION- ERS ON APRIL 24, 1951 AND AMENDED ON JUNE 26, 1951 AND JULY 24, 1951. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, :KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 6 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above be amended so that as amended said section shall read as follows: "Section 6. The monthly salaries of the attorneys employed by the (City of Paducah shall be in amounts as follows: (1) Special Counsel 10 15.00 (2) Corporation Counsel 330.00 (3) Assistant Corporation Counsel assigned to the handling of civil matters 230.00 (4) Assistant Corporation Counsel assigned to Police Court 185.00 The salaries of attorneys shall be paid at the same time and in the same manner as the salaries of other employees of the city are paid." SECTI ON 2.
