AN 0 RZINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF EQUALIZING
THE ASSESSMENTS ON PROPERTY FOR TAXATION IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
PROVIDING FOR THE COMPENSATION OF SAID BOARD, OFFICE HOURS, AND PLACE OF MEETING",
WHICHWAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 21, 1920
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 3 of an ordinance containing the title
V -(O ( I� quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 21,
v 1920, be, and the same is hereby repealed, amended and reordained, so that said

section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"Section 3. Each member of said board shall be paid the sum of
Seven & 50/100 ($7.50) Dollars per day while in the performance of his duties,

and they shall perform such duties and have such powers as are now granted to
boards of equalization of cities of the second class under the laws of the State
of Kentucky."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be retroactively effective as of
November 1, 1951-
