A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN PADUCAH
WATER WORKS AND M. H. CONRAD BUILDING COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Commissioners of Water Works of the Paducah Water
Works have recommended to the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah
that said Commissioners of Water Works by and through its Treasurer be
authorized to execute a certain contract between the said Paducah Water
Works and M. H. Conrad Building Company, a copy of which contract is hereto
attached, wherein the said M. H. Conrad Building Company proposes to construct
a water main, extendiogs and service lines from a point near the intersection
of 32nd Street with U. S. Highway 60, then to extend same to the property
of M. H. Conrad Building Company known as Conrad Heights Subdivision,
located in McCracken County, Kentucky, said water lines to be laid according
to the plans and specifications of the Paducah Water Works, and from and
after the execution of said contract to be the property of the Paducah Water
Works, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of
Paducah and the Paducah Plater Works that said contract be executed.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Paducah Water Works by and through
its Treasurer be authorized to execute and enter into said contract.
