A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF THE SUM OF :;x5,000 FROM ACCOUNT
NUMBER $090, PLANNING AND ZONING, TO THE CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission is authorized and empowered
under Sections 100.310 and 100.370 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes to perform
various functions and to obtain professional services necessary for the perfor-
mance of its functions; and
WHEREAS, said commission has, pursuant to its authority, employed the pro-
fessional services of a planning and zoning consultant and contemplates employing
other special employees in the function of its duties; and
;;WHEREAS, said commission has duly created the office of Treasurer of the
City Planning and Zoning Commission and has provided surety bond in the amount of
„5,000 for said Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, there has been appropriated in the budger of the City of Parducah for
the year 1951 the sum of $5,000 for Planning and Zoning and it is desired to
apply said money to the use of the City Planning and Zoning Commission as the
members of that Commission may desire in the performance of its functions as
defined in said statutes;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C0W.'.ISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the sum of $5,000 appropriated in the 1951 budget for the
City of Paducah for planning and zoning under Account Number $000 be transferred
and paid to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for the expenses necessary
for the work of said Commission and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and
directed to issue a check in said amount payable to said commission and charge
same to Account Number 8000.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
