HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 522, No Ordinance Number522 V AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE SUBDIVISION OF THE PROPERTY OF ROE uILKINS, LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF JACKSON STREET WEST OF THIRTY-FIRST STREET, APPROVING THE PLAT OF SAID SUBDIVISION AND SUBDIVIDING SAID PROPERTY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the City Planning and Zoning Commission on September 7, 1951, entitled: "A RESOLUTION RESPECTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COMIISSION ON THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION OF THE PROPERTY OF ROE WILKINS, I1IHICH IS LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF JACKSON STREET VIEST OF THIRTY-FIRST STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the subdivision of property located in the City of Paducah and described as follows: "Beginning at a stone in the north line of Jackson Street 100 feet west of the west line of Thirty-first Street; thence in a northerly direction at an interior angle of $9 degrees 31 minutes with the chord formed by a 50 foot arc of the north line of Jackson street, 165 feet to a stone; thence in a westerly direction at an interior angle of 90 degrees 29 minutes 50 feet to a stone; thence in a northerly direction at an exterior angle of 90 degrees 29 minutes 44.63 feet to a stone; thence in a westerly direction at an interior angle of 90 degrees 29 minutes 25 feet to a stone; thence in a northerly direction at an exterior angle of 90 degrees 29 minutes 91.03 feet to a point; thence in an easterly direction at an exterior angle of $7 degrees 24 minutes 175.18 feet to a point in the west line of Thirty-first street; thence in a northerly direction along the west line of Thirty-first street 15 feet to a stone; thence in a westerly direction at an interior angle of 92 degrees 36 minutes 231.78 feet to a stone; thence in a northerly direction at an interior angle of 260 degrees 46 minutes 93 feet to a stone; thence in a westerly direction at an interior angle of 87 degrees 40 minutes 556.95 feet to a stone; thence at right angles and in a southerly direction 32.5 feet to a stone; thence in an easterly direction at an interior angle of 93 degrees 18 minutes 45 seconds 67.6 feet to a pipe- thence in a southerly direction at an exterior angle of A4 degrees 20 minutes 30 seconds 258.05 feet to a stone in the north line of Jackson Street.j. thence in an easterly direction along the north line of Jackson street 622.65 feet to the point of beginning", as shown on the plat prepared by Harry G. Davis, Surveyor, and entitled "Parkview Subdivision", which said plat has been approved by the City Planning and Zoning Commission and bears the signatures and acknowledgements of the Chairman of said Commission and the City Engineer, dated , 1951, be, and it is hereby, approved, and said property is hereby declared to be subdivided as shown on said plat. SECTION 3. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this 523 ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions, so that if any section, paragraph or provision hereof shall be found to be invalid, inoperative or in- effective, the deficiency or invalidity thereof shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall be in .full force and effect from and after the date on which the aforesaid plat is lodged for record in the office of the Clerk of the McCracken County Court. p Mayor Pro Tem C.
