HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 490, No Ordinance Number490 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KING-WOODALL MOTOR SALES FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE 1951 MODEL 11 TON DUMP TRUCK FOR USE IN THE FLOODWALL DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE THEREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of King -Woodall. Motor Sales in the amount of :;2,295.00 for the sale to the City of Paducah of one new G.M.C. Model 2$1, 137" wheelbase, dump truck, as said truck is described in said company's bid dated July 16, 1951• SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, a contract for the purchase of said truck, provided that said contract may contain all of the terms, conditions and agreements as set forth in said company's bid together with such additional conditions and covenants which the City Manager may deem necessary. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
