AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE STATEMENT OF ANTICIPATED REVENUES OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH FOR THE YEAR 1951; REVISING AND AMENDING THE APPROPRIATION OF THE PUBLIC
REVENUE AND INCOME COLLECTED AND TO BE COLLECTED IN SAID YEAR; PROVIDING FOR THE
APPROPRIATION OF THE ADDITIONAL REVENUE ANTICIPATED AND COLLECTIBLE DURING SAID
YEAR, INCLUDING REVENUES COLLECTED AND TO BE COLLECTED WHICH WERE NOT ANTICIPATED
AT THE TIME OF THE ADOPTION OF THE ANNUAL APPORTIONMENT ORDINANCE FOR THE YEAR 1951;
TRANSFERRING UNUSED APPROPRIATIONS FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES TO OTHER PURPOSES, AND
APPROPRIATING AVAILABLE REVENUES IN THE YEAR 1951 THAT WERE NOT INCLUXED IN THE
ANNUAL BUDGET; FIXING THE APPORTIONMENT OF THE PUBLIC FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSES
SPECIFIED THEREIN; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH;
WHEREAS, the City Manager in his budget for the year 1951 anticipated the
receipt of total revenues in the sum of $986,287.49; and
WHEREAS, it appears that said City Manager anticipated the receipt of rev
from Housing Projects in an amount of $4,000, and whereas it now appears that an
additional $6,000 will be collected from this source; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager anticipated the receipt of $9,000 from building
permit fees, and it now appears that an additional $8,000 is certain to be collected
from this source; and
WHEREAS, under another item of the City Manager's budget, the sum of $45,000
was anticipated in revenue from automobile and truck licenses,.and it now appears
that an additional amount of $4,000 will be collected; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the aforesaid adjustment in the sum of $18,000
which has been made, the total amount of revenue which will be paid into the
general fund of the City of Paducah in the year 1951 will amount to $1,004,287.49;
and
WHEREAS, because of the necessity of making certain expenditures not contem-
plated at the time of the adoption of the 1951 apportionment ordinance, a revision
of the apportionment of the public funds must be made, and by sadd revision certain
unused appropriations for one purpose will be transferred to another purpose, and
available revenues not included in the annual budget will be made available to
defray the current and incidental expenses of the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the statement of revenues of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
collected and anticipated for the year 1951 be, and the same is hereby revised by
anticipating an additional $6,000 from Housing Projects; anticipating an additional
$ 8,000 from Building Permit Fees; and anticipating an additional $4,000 from the
sale of Automobile and Truck Licenses, thereby increasing the revenue anticipated
for the year 1951 by $18,000, making the total anticipated revenue $1,004,2$7.49•

SECTION 2. That the sum of $40,902.40 be transferred from the following
accounts in the sums shown:

SECTION 3. All ordinances or
parts of ordinances
in conflict
herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause to be published in
the Paducah Sun -Democrat a notice of the introduction of this ordinance and the
proposal to make the aforesaid transfers and appropriation of $18,000 of increased
revenue for the year 1951, said notice to be published at least one week before thi;
ordinance shall be put upon its final passage.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be retroactively effective as of July 1, 195-
