A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO SELL AT PUBLIC RUCTION CERTAIN
GAS HOT WATER HEATERS AND GAS OVEN COOK STOVES AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF SALE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to sell
at public auction twenty-one (21) 20 gallon natural gas hot water heaters and
twenty (20) 4 eye gas oven cook stoves now located at the city warehouse
on the west side of South 3rd Street between Kentucky Avenue and Washington
Streets in the City of Paducah, all of said items being used items taken from
buildings at the Veterans Housing Project at 23rd and Ohio Streets. Each
of said units will be sold separately for cash to the highest and best bidder
at said auction sale and same shall be removed by the successful bidders from
said warehouse immediately upon completion of the sale. The City Manager shall
advertise said sale by a ntoice posted at the City Hall door and by inserting
notice in at least one issue of the Sun -Democrat said notices to be posted
and published at least seven (7) days prior to said auction sale. The City
Manager shall reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption. a /
