HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 467, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF THE TAYLOR -WILSON CHEVROLET COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE 1951 MODEL ONE-HALF TON PICK UP TRUCK FOR USE IN THE STREET DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE THEREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY. SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of the Taylor -Wilson Chevrolet company in the amount of $1,150 for the sdle to the City of Paducah of one new 1951 model one-half ton pick-up truck, as said truck is described in said company$s bid dated June 21, 1951. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, a contract for the purchase of said pick-up truck, provided that said contract may contain all of the terms, conditions and agreements as set forth in said company's bid together with such additional conditions and covenants which the City Manager may deem necessary. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage. 0 Introduced by the Board of Commissioners July 10, 1951 Passed by the Board of Commissioners July 18, 1951 Recorded by Sarah Thurman, City Clerk, July 18, 1951. 467
