AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF THE TAYLOR WILSON CHEVROLET COMPANY
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE 1951 MODEL ONE-HALF TON CARRYALL EIGHT
PASSENGER AUTOMOBILE, RED IN COLOR, FOR USE IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND A
THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0I,2VIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of the Taylor -Wilson
Chevrolet Company in the amount of 31,475.00 for the sale to the City of Paducah
of one 1951 model one-half ton carryall eight passenger automobile, red in color,
with drop down tail gate, as said carryall is described in said Company's bid
dated June 21, 1951.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized
to ernter into and execute, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, a contract
for the purchase of said carryall, provided that said contract may contain all
of the terms, conditions and agreements as set forth in said company's bid
together with such additional conditions and covenants which the City Manager
may deem necessary.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of
the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one week for public
inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
