AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BITS OF THE NATIONAL CASH REGISTER COMPANY
IN THE SUM OF ;x,4,515.00 FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE (1) CLASS
31-10-10(1$) 20" ACCOUNTING MACHINE FOR USE IN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT, SAID BID
TO BE ACCEPTED UPON THE CONDITION THAT SAID MACHINE WHEN RECEIVED WILL BE SUBJECT
TO APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS THIRTY (30) DAYS THEREAFTER, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAID
MACHINE UPON THAT CONDITION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid pf the National Cash
Register Company in the sum of -;?4,515.00 for the sale to said city of one (1)
Class 31-10-10(1$) 20" Accounting Machine, but that said bid be accepted upon
the express condition that final acceptance of said purchase be subject to
approval, by motion or resolution, of the Board of Commissioners within thirty
(30) days following receipt of said machine by the City Treasurer.
SECTION 2. That the City P•;anager be, and he is hereby authorized, to enter
into and execute, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, a contract for the
purchase of said bookkeeping machine as provided in Section 1 above, provided,
that said contract may contain such conditions and covenants which the City
Manager may deem necessary.
SECTION 3. This ordinanceshall be introduced at a regular meeting of the
Board pf Commissioners and remain on file for at least one week for public inspectic
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
