HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 350, No Ordinance Number3 57 AE ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF THE ULD CLINTON ROAD EXTENDING FROAI THE NORTHERLY LINE OF JACKSON STREET AT A POIi'T 269.69 FEST EAST OF TH& NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF JACKSON STREET 'WITH THE LOVELACEVILLE :TOAD, AND CONTINUING THENCE TO THE WEST LINE OF 31ST STREET; AND AUTHORIZING TH 17STITUTION OF A SUIT IN THE McCRACKEN CIRCUIT COURT FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLOSIVG SAID ROAD BY AN ORDER OF THAT COURT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing of all of that portion of the Old Clinton Road which extends from the northerly line of Jackson street at a point 269.69 feet east of the northeast corner of the intersection of Jackson Street with the Lovelaceville Road, and continuing thence to the west line of 31st street, the portion of said road to be closed being more particularly described as follows: Being approximately 30 feet in width, the center line of which begins at a point in the west line of 31st street 309.21 feet north of the northwest corner of the intersection of 31st and Jackson streets, said northwest corner of the intersection of 31st and Jackson streets being used here as a reference point only; thence in a westerly direction and at an interior angle with said reference point of 92 degrees 36 minutes 593.37 feet to a stake; thence on a line which deflects to the left 8 degrees 1521 minutes 358 feet to a stake; thence on a line which deflects to the left' 19 degrees 36 minutes 190.92 feet to a stake; thence on a line which deflects to the left 2 degrees 195.88 feet to the north line of Jackson street, which is the intersection of the Old Clinton Road and Jackson Street between 3kst street and Love- laceville Road as established by the State Highway Department. And that a suit be instituted in the ±-_cCracken Circuit Court for the purpose of closing the aforesaid road pursuant to a judgment of that Court. SECTION 2.
