THOMAS FOR THE PURCHASE OF LOTS NOS. 7, 8 AND 9 OF THE HAMILTON SUBDIVISION OWNED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR WHOSE SIGNATURE SHALL BE ATTESTED BY THE CITY CLERK, TO EXECUTE, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, A DEED OF CONVEYANCE TO THE PROPERTY SO PURCHASED; AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH SAID I PROPERTY SHALL BE CONVEYED WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on January 9, 1951, the City Manager was requested to advertise for bids for the pur- chase of certain real estate which the City of Paducah acquired at commissioners sales held pursuant to judgments rendered in the McCracken Circuit Court; and WHEREAS, sealed bids were submitted as required under the provisions of said resolution and the aforesaid request for bids, and it appears that the amounts offered by George R. Thomas were the highest bids received for the purchase of Lots Nos. 7, 8 and 9 of the Hamilton subdivision to the City of Paducah, Kentucky; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of George R. Thomas in the sum of $1,050 for the purchase of Lots Nos. 7, 8 and 9 of the Hamilton subdivision as shown by the plat of said subdivision of record in Plat Book "C", page 59, in the office of the County Court Clerk of McCracken County, Kentucky, and being a part of the property conveyed by Sam King, Master Commissioner to the City of Paducah by deed dated February 25, 1942, and of record in Commissioner's Deed Book 11, page 158 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office, and also part of the property conveyed by Sam King, Master Commissioner, to the City of Paducah by deed dated January 4, 1942, and of record in Commissioner's Deed Book 217, page 528, in the aforesaid Clerk's office. SECTION 2. The purchase price for the property described in Section 1 hereof shall be paid im cash and Stuart Johnston the Mayor of the City of Paducah, whose signature shall be attested by Sarah Thurman, the City Clerk, is hereby authorized and empowered, to execute and deliver a deed or dedds of conveyance to the said George R. Thomas, conveying the above described property to him with covenant of Special Warranty and subject to any encroachments or other physical conditions whic an accurate survey would show. Such deed or deeds of conveyance shall also provide that the grantee assume and agree to pay all state and county taxes which are to become due in the year 1951. SECTION 3.
