FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE TANDEM, DRIVE MOTOR GRADER FOR USE IN THE STREET DI,.ISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY I.AiIAGER TO ENTER I'sdTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE THEREOF", the City of Paducah has purchased from the Brandeis Machinery and Supply Company the following equipment: 1 - (only) Adams Model 312 I:Iotor Grader International 70 H.P. Model UD9 Diesel Engine, 1800 RPM, 12Tx9/16" moldboard, air cleaner, muffler, hear indicator, venerator horn, manual steering, 2 wheel hydraulic brakes, hand brake on transmission, unholstered seat, tools, Adams tandem drive (4 drive wheels), leaning wheel front axle, 7.50x24 - 10 ply front tires, 12.00x24 - 8 ply low pressure lug tread rear tires, can w/enclosure (metal and safety glass), starting and lighting equipment and "V" type scarifier. 1 - (only) 10T interchangable moldboard complete for above machine. AND WHEREAS, the purchase price of said equipment is the sum of ;;11,466 and has not been paid, and WHEREAS, said equipment is to be used for purposes within the purview of the ordinance adopted December 29, 1950 entitled: "AN ORDINA^ICE PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHILENT AND MAINTENA14CE OF A PUBLIC WORKS CUMULATIVE RESERVE F'UIiD I_I THE SUFI OF 'F35,000.00 FROM THE ACCUMULATIOI OF SURPLUS REVENUES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, IN THE YEAR 1950; DESIGNATING THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH SUCH PUBLIC 111ORKS FUND IS CREATED; AND PROVIDING FOR THL EXPENDITURE OF SUCH FUND". N01,7 THEREFORE, BE I1T ORDAINED I3Y THE BOARD OF COT"IMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, K1ETTUCICY: SECTION 1. The sum of y¢11,466.00 is hereby appropriated out of the Public '.':Io Cumulative Reserve Fund for the purchase of the aforesaid equipment, and payment thereof to the Brandeis !.'achinery and Supply Company is hereby authorized. SECTION 2.
