AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF A PUBLIC ALLEY EXTEUDING AN UNII'ORI:I WIDTH OF 25-2�% FEET IN A !ESTERLY DIRECTION FR025 THE.'WEST SIDE OF JOE CLIFTC DRIVE, OR !MENTI -EIGHTH STREET, MIDWAY BEW,EEid JEPt,1ER6Oi4 STREET AIdD MOiIHiOE STREET, A DISTANCE OF TNO HUNDRED TNEPiTY-FIVE (225) FEET; AID AU'PHORIZING THE CORPOI,ATIOII COUNSEL TO INSTITUTE I:1 THE McCRACXEtN CIRCUIT COURT A SUIT FOR THE PURPOSE OF HAVING SAID ALLEY" LEGALLY CLOSED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, ICENTUCICY: SECTION 1. TIa t the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing of all of that 25 foot public alley extending in a westerly direction from the :rest line of Joe Clifton Drive, or twenty-eighth street, a distance of Two Hundred gvienty-five (225) feet, which alley is located in the block midway between Jeffersc street and :::onroe street and is more particularly described as follows, to -wit: "Beginning at a point in the nest line of Joe Clifton Drive, or T-ienty-eighth street, 152 feet north of the northwest corner of the intersection of Joe Clifton Drive and Jefferson Street; thence at right angles and in a westerly direction 225 feet; thence at right angles and in a northerly direction 252 feet; thence at right ankles and in an easterly direc- tion 225 feet to the west line of Joe Clifton Drive; thence with the west line of Joe Clifton Drive and in a southerly direction 252 feet to the point of beginning." SECTION 2. The Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah is hereby authorized and empowered to institute, pursuant to the provisions of IDIS 93.360, a suit for a decree ordering the closing of said alley. SECTION 3.
