AN CRDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CANCELLATION OF THE LEASE OF TRE DUMP ON
NORTH SIXTH STREET FROM THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO THE MUNICIPAL SERVICE AND SUPPLY
COMPANY; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO NOTIFY OSCAR NELSON, PRESIDENT OF THE
MUNICIPAL SERVICE AND SUPPLY COMPANY a- THE CANCELLATION OF SAID LEASE
WHEREAS, under date of July 26, 1950, the City of Paducah leased to the
Municipal Service and Supply Company the dump on North 6th street in Paducah,
Kentucky, as a site for the collection and disposal of garbage and rubbish; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Service and Supply Company has since abandoned the
operation of its garbage and rubbish disposal system in Paducah, Kentucky, and has
thereby forfeited the rights and privileges acquired under said lease;
IdO1V THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY UiE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the lease of the dump on North 6th street to the Municipal
Service and Supply Company dated July 26, 1950, be, and the same is hereby
cancelled, and that Oscar Nelson, the President of said company, be notified by
the Mayor of the termination and cancellation of said lease by reason of said
company's violation of its terms and conditions.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
