AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON BOTH SIDES OF KENTUCKI
AVENUE FROM THE PROPERTY LINE OF SOUTH SIXTH STREET 150 FEET EAST TOWARD SOUTH
FIFTH STREET; ON BOTH SIDES OF KENTUCKY AVENUE FROM THE PROPERTY LINE OF SOUTH
SIXTH STREET 150 FEET WEST TOWARD SOUTH SEVENTH STREET; ON BOTH SIDES OF SOUTH
SIXTH STREET FROM THE PROPERTY LINE OF KENTUCKY AVENUE 150 FEET NORTH TOWARD
BROADWAY; ON BOTH SIDES OF SOUTH SIXTH STREET FROM THE PROPERTY LINE OF KENTUEKY
AVENUE 150 FEET SOUTH TOWARD WASHINGTON STREET; PRESCRIBING THE PENALTY FOR
VIOLATIONS THEREOF; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company or cor-
poration to at any time park or leave standing a vehicle of any kind on either
side of Kentucky Avenue from the property line of South Sixth Street 150 feet
east toward Fifth Street; on either side of Kentucky Avenue from the property
line of South Sixth Street 150 feet west toward South Seventh Street; on either
side of South Sixth Street from the property line of Kentucky Avenue 150 feet
north toward Broadway; or on either side of South Sixth Street from the property
line of Kentucky Avenue 150 feet south toward Washington Street.
SECTION 2. Any person, firm, company, or corporation violating the
provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than One Dollar (41.00)
nor more than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) and each time any vehicle is parked
on said streets, in that area prohibited by this ordinance, shall be construed
as a separate offense.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
effect from and after its adoption.
