HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 172, No Resolution Number172 A RESOLUTION COMIU-P10I NG TIE LOYAL ORDER 02 ;:i00SE A ;D grHE JUNIOR CHA1L?LR OF COLZIERCE FOR THEIR EFFORTS Pi PROMOTING THE "YOUM HONOR DAY" PROGRAM Oil HALLO I E.EN I.TTEREAS, the Loyal order of Koose and the Junior Chamber of Commerce conducted "Youth Honor Day" parties on Eallowleen for the purpose of promotin^; a new conception of the spirit of IIallowleen and the prevention of vandalism and destruction usually wrought on iallowteen HiSht; and WHEREAS, the City Council of, the City of Paducah feels that this program was successful in the attainment of its purposes; NOW, TFEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IMINCIa: SECTION 1. That the Paducah Lodge No. 285 of the Loyal Order of Moose and the Junior Chamber of Commerce be commended for their efforts in promoting the ":Youth honor Day" program, and that the appreciation of the Board of Comm- issioners of the City of Paducah be expressed to these organizations, and that the legislative body of the city pledge its support to any such programs which. they might sponsor in the future. SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
