That upon the recommendation and request of the City ?lanni Z and zonin,, Commission as shown by its final report embodied in a resolution adopted by it on October 20, 1950, all of the property bounded by 6th street, 9th street, Finley street and Campboll street is hereby declared to be a reaideatial district within the meaning of the City Planninr, and Zonir., Commission Lary and to be used for residential purposes only. SECTION 2. All property within said area is suoject to the following restrictions: 1. Any neer residence to be set back from the front property line at least 20 feet. 2. Only one (1) residence to be constructed per lot, the same to front the street In the manner in .:hich the lot is layed out. Tile foregoing restrictions shall not be applicable to any new housing projects built under the super- vision of the City of Paducah I.:unicipal Housing Commission. SECTION 3. Any property Owner, tenant or other person who erects, constructs or reconstructs any building in violation of or contrary to the aforoaak provisions of this ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not less than .¢0.00 nor more than 100.00 for each offense so committed and each day such offense is committed shall be deemed a separate offense and shall be subject to a separate penalty under the provisions hereof, or the person so offending or so guilty of violation of the provisions hereof, may in addition to such fine be imprisoned not more than fifty (50) days at the discretion of the JudSe or Jury trying the case.
