HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 1358, No Ordinance Number135$ / AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT of THF, PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COP•IdISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF 5TH AND JACKSON STREETS AND AFiEMDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCES SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI•-iISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on December 3, 1953, entitled: "A RESOLUTIONI CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AI?D ZONING C01-24ISSIO11 ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY Oil THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF 5TH AND JACKSON STREETS77, be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the. zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to R-4: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of 5th and Jackson Streets; thence east with the center line of Jackson Street 203.25 feet; thence north parallel with 5th Street to the south boundary of the existing R-4 zone; thence west with said boundary to the center line of 5th Street; thence south with the center line of 5th Street to the beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING 1.1011 be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION: 4._ That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or;provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
