That the City of Paducah accept the bid of King-tloodall Motor Sales in the amount of :1,539.02 for sale to the City of one (1) Canopy Express Body truck described as follows: 1953 - GhIC - Model 101-22 CANOPY EXPRESS TRUCK - 1.1heelbase 116" 'lith roll -dorm side and rear curtains (see attached specification,sheet on Body Model 1660 for specifications and dimensions) Equipped_. with; 6.00x16 6 Ply Tires, front, single rear and Spare tire carrier, Oil Bath lir cleaner, Oil Filter, Auxiliary folding seat, Hot crater heater and defrosters, thermostatically controlled, Turn signals, front and rear SECTION 2. That the i•ayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract with said King -Woodall "_0tor Sales for the pur- chase of said truck as set out in Section 1 hereof, and as described in the bid of said company dated November 12, 1953. SECTS This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, but it being necessary to purchase said truck immediately in order to protect the public health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
