HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 1335, No Ordinance NumberAll ORDINAKCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CHARLEY McGUIRE FOR THE PURCHASE FROIA THE CITY OF PADUCAH, PENTUCKY, CIL UNIT "Lof I41MM, AS THE RHODES-BROADY COURT BUILDING; PRESCRIBING THE TERKS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIiQ:SSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KHAITUCKY: SECTION 1. That the bid of Charley IdcGuire for the purchase of Unit IVI of the Rhodes -Broady Court buildings in the sum of V1j50.00 be accepted. SECTION 2. The terms and conditions of such sale are that the entire purchase price of .;;50.00 be paid in cash and that the pur- chaser agree to remove said building completely from the site within thirty (30) days after this date and that he agrees that same shall not be replaced or re -erected within the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. The purchaser shall be required to furnish a satisfactory policy or policies of insurance protecting and indemnifying the City against the claim or claims of any person or persons caused by the dismantling and/or removing of said building from the site. SECTION 2. Upon payment of the aforesaid sum of ;)50.00 to the City, the Mayor and City Clerk are by this ordinance authorized to execute a bill of sale to said purchaser conveying said building. SECTION 4.
