AN ORDINAME APPROPRIATING THE SUi OF 5j5000.00 FOR THE USE OF
AN AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT OF McCRACK-14 COUNTY
WHEREAS, the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
at its 1952 Session enacted an Act Imovm as Senate Bill I'•io. 147, now
knovm as Chapter 77 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes, providing for
the creation of an Air Pollution Control District in any county con-
taining a city of the second class, and
1112REAS, the creation of such a district- has been established
by the action of the Fiscal Court of !McCracken bounty, Kentucky and the
Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THS BOARD OF COI;IISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCItY:
SECTIOPi 1. That the sum of ',;?5000.00 be, and the same is hereby,
appropriated for the use of the Air Pollution Control District of
3cCracken County as authorized under Section 77.125 of the Kentucky
Revised Statutes, and said amount shall be charged against the
Contingent Fund under Account Niriber 1500 of the 1953 Apportionment
Ordinance as amended on September 8, 1953. The City Treasurer is
hereby authorized to execute a check in said amount to the order of
said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced by the Board
of Commissioners and remain on file for public inspection for at least
one (1) week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage, and shall be in full force and effect ter_ (10) days
after its adoption_.
