HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 1323, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE MEST SIDE OF 3RD STREET BETWEEN GEORGE STREET AND ELIZABETH STREET AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUM REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COP11ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on October 15, 1953, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COAIDfISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE WEST SIDE OF 3RD STREET BETVIEEN GEORGE STREET AND ELIZABETH STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R=;3 to B-3: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of 3rd Street and Elizabeth Street; thence north with the center line of 3rd Street to the center line of George Street; thence nest with the center line of George Street 206.25 feet to the center line of an alley; thence south with the center line of said alley to the center line of Elizabeth Street; thence east with the center line of Elizabeth Street to the beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH-PLAN-ZONINGJJAP11 be, and they are hereby, amended to the extnet and in the respects necessary to effect and designa the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
