AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND
ZONING CO%'MISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE WEST SIDE OF
OLD BIAYFIELD ROAD NORTH OF QUARLES AVENUE AND LENDING TIIE PADUCAH ZONING
ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CON�I�LrCSSIOHERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTIO14 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning
Commission on October 15, 1953, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL
REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONIPiG COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING
OF PROPERTY ON THE bTEST SIDE OF OLD HAYFIELD ROAD NORTH OF QUARLES AVENUE",
be approved as the final report of said commission respecting the matters
therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-3:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Old Mayfield
Road 153.3 feet north of the north line of Quarles Avenue;
thence west on a line parallel with the north line of
Quarles Avenue to the present boundary of the existing
R-3 zone; thence north with said boundary to the northwest
corner of said R-3 zone; thence east with the north boundary
of said R-3 zone to the center line of Old Mayfield Road;
thence south with the center line of Old I•Iayfield Road to
the beginning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in
Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING I4IAP", be, and they are
hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and
designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4.. That if any section, paragraph or provision.of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the
deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not
affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose
and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and
provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTS This ordinan ce shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
