HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 1320, No Ordinance Number1320 j AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON BOTH SIDES OF OAK STREET BETWEEN PINE AND ELLIS STREETS AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on October 8, 1953, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMr•IISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON BOTH SIDES OF OAK STREET BETWEEN PINE AND ELLIS STREETS.", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby changed from M-1 to R-3: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Oak and Pine Streets; thence north with the center line of Oak Street 155 feet to the intersection of that line with the center line of an alley; thence east with the center line of said alley to its intersection with the center line of Ellis Street; thence south with the center line of Ellis Street 270 feet to the north line of the railroad right-of-way; thence west with the north line of said railroad right-of-way to its intersection with the center line of Pine Street; thence north with :the center line of Pine Street to the beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN - ZONING MAP" be, and they are herein, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be (bund to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
