AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN EASEMENT FOR SEWER
PURPOSES FROM CONIGE CAWTHON
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky purchase from
conige Cawthon an easement for sewer purposes over and upon the following
described land situated in Paducah, Kentucky;
Being a part of Block 30 as shovm by plat recorded in
Deed Book 2, pages 270 and 271. Beginning at a point on
the east property line of McGuire Avenue 550.8 feet, more
or less, south from the southeast corner of the intersection
of McGuire Avenue and Park Avenue or Hinkleville Road, said
point being in the line dividing the property of the parties
of the first part and Abraham Cheshire; thence south along
the east property line of McGuire Avenue a distance of 25
feet; thence east and parallel with the line dividing the
property of the parties of the first part and Abraham
Cheshire and parallel with Park Avenue a distance of 388.9
feet, more or less, to the east property line of said tract
and the west property line of a 15 -foot alley; thence north
along the alley property line a distance of 25 feet to the
north property line of the Lonnie Griffith tract; thence
west along said property and parallel with Park Avenue a
distance of 389.1 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning.
The purchase price for said easement is in the sum of $100.00 and
the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to issue a check of
the City of Paducah, Kentucky in the sum of $100.00 to the order of Conige
Cawthon in full payment for such easement, the same to be charged to the
Easement Acquisition Account under Project KY 15 -CF -8.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
