AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING THE USE BY TRAILERS AND SEMI -TRAILERS, DURING CERTAIN HOURS OF
EACH DAY, OF CERTAIN SECTIONS OF KENTUCKY AVENUE, BROADWAY, JEFFERSON STREET,
SECOND STREET, THIRD STREET, FOURTH STREET, FIFTH STREET AND SEVENTH STREET
IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF",
WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON SEPTEMBER 8, 1953, AND
AMENDED ON SEPTEMBER 15, 1953
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of,an ordinance containing the title quoted
above, which was adopted on September 8, 1953, and amended on September 15,
1953, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained so that slid section
as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company or
corporation to, at any time between the hours of 8 o4clock A.M. and 5:30
o*clock P.M. seven (7) days per week, operate any motor truck or truck tractor
with either a semi -trailer or trailer attached thereto, as defined in Section
1, upon the following streets in the City of Paducah, Kentucky:
Kentucky Avenue between 3rd Street and 6th Street
Broadway between 2nd Street and 7th Street
Jefferson Street between 3rd Street and 6th Street
3rd Street between Kentucky Avenue and Jefferson Street
lith Street between Kentucky Avenue and Jefferson Street
5th Street betwee,m Kentucky Avenue and Jefferson Street
7th Street between Kentucky Avenue and Broadway".
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
