COTTON FOR THE PURCHASE FROM THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, OR UNITS A, Cy D,&E KNOWN AS THE RHODES-BROADY COURT BUILDINGS; PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the bid of ,R. N.,Cotton for the purchase of Units A; C, D•and E of the Rhodes -Broady Cour' buildings in the respective sums of $$205.00, $205.00, $177.00 and $177.00 be accepted. SECTION 2. The terms and conditions of such sale are that the entire purchase price of $764.00 be paid in cash and that the purchaser agree;to remove said buildings completely -.from the site within thirty (30) days after this date and that he agree that none of same shall be replaced or re -erected within the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. The purchaser shall be required to furnish a satisfactory policy or policies of insurance protecting and indemnifying the City against the claim or claims of any person or persons caused by the dismantling and/or removing of said buildings from the site. SECTION 3. Upon payment of the aforesaid sum of $764.00 to the City the Mayor and City Clerk are by this ordinance authorized to execute a bill of sale to said purchaser conveying said buildings. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. Mayor Passed by the Board of Commissioners October 6, 1953.
