AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF OLA LINGER
AND HUSBAND, PAUL LINGER, FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES, AND PROVIDING FOR THE TERMS
AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky purchase from Ola
Linger and husband, Paul Li.nger,.the following,described land situated in
Paducah, Kentucky:
Beginning at a'point-on the north'side of Monroe Street '
391 feet east of the north east co'rnex 'of -the intersection
of Monroe Street and 31st Street; thence in a northerly:
direction parallel to 31st Street and along the west line
of a 14.4? strip, dedicated for public purposes, said line
being also the west property line of 30th Street if eactended
in a straight line north from Monroe Street,'a distance of
346.5°, more or less, to the south property line of.Madison
streets thence in a westerly direction'and along the south
property lira of Madison Street a d'istance.of 35.61; thence
in a southeasterly direction a distance of 341.321'0 more or
less, to the point of beginning. Saidppropperty composing a
triangular shaped piece of land of the Pau Linger tract.
Said property being purchased for sewer and other public.purposes.
The purchase price to be paid by the City for said property is the sum of
$1,250.00, and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to pay.
said sum to Ola Linger and husband, Paul Linger, in full payment for said
property, the same to be charged to the acquisition account under Project
KY 15 -CF -1.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain.on file for
public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form in which
it shall be put upon its final passage.
