AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN rROPERTY
OF C. E. McCUTCHEN FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES, AND PROVIDING FOR THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky purchase from
C. E. McCutchen the following described land situated in Paducah,
Kentucky; •
"Beginning at•a point on the line dividing the property
of C. E. McCutchen and the Noble Park property where
same is intersected by the proposed east line of said
easement or right of way said point being 61+$ feet,
more or less, west oif tie south east corner of the
McCutchen tract; thence westerly with the line.dividing
the'McCutchen land and the Noble Park property 292.48
feet, more or less, to McCutchents south west corner;
thence northwardly with the McCutchen west line and the
east line of the City of Paducah floodwall right of way
land 228.8 feet to a point where said line is intersected
by.the east line of the aforesaid easement or right of
way; thence in a southeasterly direction with the east
line of said easement or right of tray 371 feet, more or
less to the point of beginning and containing approx-
imately 0.75 acres.
Said property being purchased for sewer and other public
purposes, The purchase price to be paid by the City for said property
is the sum of X1,150.00, and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized
and directed to pay said sum to C. E. McCutchen in full payment for
said property, the same to be charged to the acquisition account under
Project KY 15 -CF -8.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the com-
pleted form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
