AN ORDII,T0.10E PROHIBITING THE OPERATION OF TRAILERS ARID SE1.7-
TRAILERS ON JEFFERSON STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FROM
THE VEST LINE OF 13TH STREET TO THE EAST LINE OF 31ST STREET, AND
PROViDIEG PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0111,ZSSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, ILd TUCIiY;
SECTION 1. Definitions As used in this ordinance.
(a) "Semi -trailer" means a vehicle designed to be attached to,
and having its front end supported by, a motor truck or truck tractor,
intended for the carrying of freight and merchandise and having a load
capacity of over one thousand pounds.
(b) 9PTrailer" means any vehicle designed to be drawn by a motor
truck or truck tractor but supported wholly upon its own wheels, intended
_'or the carrying of freight or merchandise and having a load capacity of
over one thousand pounds.
SECTION 2. No person, firm or corporation shall operate any
trailer or semi -trailer, as defined in Section 1 hereof, upon Jefferson
Street in the City of Paducah between the wrest line of 13th street and the
east line of 31st street.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates the
provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than ten (5?10.00)
dollars nor more than one hundred (51100.00) dollars for each offense.
SECi.'ION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
