AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CARDINAL C01•II'ANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY OF FIVE (5) DEEIPSTER-DUPIPSTER REFUSE CONTAINERS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE DIAYOR TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C011-IISSIOI?ERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Cardinal Company
of Louisville, Kentucky for sale to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, of five
(5) Dempster-Dumpster refuse containers for use in the City of Paducah in
the amount of }:1,835.00 plus an amount up to ,;125.00 to be included for freight
charges; said refuse containers are described as follows:
Four (4) only Dempster-Dumpste-r, Apartment type, b cubic yard, drop
botton refuse containers. Container to have one door in each end.
One (1) only Dempster-Dumpster, Skip type containrm with lip, b cubic
yard capacity.
SECTION 2. That the Payor be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into
a contract with said Cardinal Company for the purchase of said Dempster-Dumpster
refuse containers as set out in Section 1 hereof, and as described in the bid
of said company dated July 24, 1953.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for public
inspection for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage and if adopted it shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
