HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 1254, No Ordinance Number125 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COi,E'IISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF 9TH STREET HUSBANDS STREET AND A%11;NDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COPRAISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH KEN^1UCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on August 6, 1953, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COIJ11ISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF 9TH STREET SOUTH OF HUSBANDS STREET"., be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-1: "Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Husbands street and 9th Street; thence south with the center line of 9th Street 410 feet; thence at right angles east 203.25 feet to the center line of an alley; thence north with the center line of said alley 410 feet to the center line of Husbands Street; thence nest with the center line of Husbands Street to the point of beginning." SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAIN-ZODING MAP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extant and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective, or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or•invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance -to make each and every section, para- graph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
