HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 1250, No Ordinance Number1250 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING T:VO FINAL REPORTS OF THE PADUCAH PLANDIIIG AND ZONING C01-11ISSION RESPECTING THE AAIENDRMIT OF SECTION 20-A OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01-1IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAII, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on July 23, 1953, entitled: P1A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FILIAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLAIRTING AND ZONING COIiNISSION ON THE PROPOSED REVISION OF SECTION 20-A OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDIIIANCE91, Be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters set forth therein. SECTION 2. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on July 30, 1953, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING CO1.3-ZSSION ON TIE PROPOSED REVISION OF SECTION 20-A-3 OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 3_ That Section 20=A of the Paducah Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance Book 12, page 709) be, and it is hereby, amended by the addition of the following sub -section, the same to follow the present subsection numbered 3: conzectionerir snow - rroviaea aancing ana entertainment are excluded and provided all activities in connection therewith, other than the serving of patrons in automobiles, are conducted within a building. Plans for building construction, parking areas, yards, driveways, entrances and exits shall be approved by the Commission, and it may require such changes therein as it may deem necessary or desirable to insure safety, to minimize traffic difficulties and to safeguard adjacent properties. The use area shall be developed as required in Section 911. SECTION L. That Section 29-A of the Paducah Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance Book 12, page 709) be, and it is hereby, amended by the addition of the following new subsection, the same to follow the present subsection numbered 4: 114. Dry Cleaning Establishment - using not more than two clothes cleaning units, neither of which shall have a rated capacity of more than 40 pounds, and using synthetic cleaning fluid which is non- explosive, odorless and non-inflamable." SECTION 5. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and pro- vision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTIO14 6.
