HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 1207, No Ordinance Number1207 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTPENT OF A CLERK TYPIST AND PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES AND SALARY FOR SME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMIIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to employ a suitableperson to act as clerk -typist in the police department of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. The clerk -typist shall perform such clerical duties as the City Manager may require; and shall not be vested with any police powers, and shall not be subject to any rules or regulations applying only to the police department. SECTION 2. The clerk -typist shall be an employee of the City of Paducah, being removable from such position at any time hereafter with or without cause and shall not acquire any right or privilege under the rules of civil service governing other employees of the City. SECTIONS The clerk -typist shall receive assalary the sum of $180.00 per month for the first six months, $190.00 per month for the second six months and $200.00 per month thereafter upon recommendation of the City Manager, such salary to be paid at the same time the salaries of other employees of the City are paid/ SECTION 4.
