BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COJE118SI0NER.S OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTI0I7Z. That the construction of a 15 inch trunk line sanitary sewer with 6 inch wye branches, extending the Park _Avenue sanitary sewer from its present end at 27th Street along and near Park Avenue westwardly to 32nd Street, and a 12 inch trunk line sanitary sewer with o" inch wye branches, from such point southwardly on 32nd Street to Iinnich Avenue is a necessity. SECTION 2. The construction of said sewer shall be in charge of the City Engineer and the construction work shall be done by the Department of Public Works according to and conforming with the detailed plans and specifications, as to the.design and construction of same, on file in the department of Engineering of the City of Paducah, and the Director of PRblic Works is hereby authorized and directed to construct same and cause it to be completed at the earliest possible date. SECTION 3. That the offer of River Oak Homes, Inc. to pay the sum of s';'18,000.00toward3 the cost of constructing said sewer be accepted, and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized to accept said sum and is hereby directed to place same in a separate bank account under the name of "Park Avenue Sewer Fund Account". The City Treasurer is further authorized and directed to transfer to said account the sum of 5x17,000.00 appropriated for sewer construction in the 1953 apportionment ordinance under Account No. 10283. 1203 SECTION 4. The funds placed in said "Park Avenue Sewer Pund Account'; as authorized in Section 3 of this ordinance, are to be used and disbursed by the City Treasurer Soley,for the cost of construction of said sewer, including the purchase of materials and supplies, the purchase or rental of machinery, tools and equipment used in such con- struction, and the payment of any other necessary items. SECTIOIV 5. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed from in which it shall be put upon its final passage, but it being necessary that this area be served with sanitary sewers at the earliest possible date for the protection of the public health and welfare, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in fu11 force and effect from and after its adoption.
