AN ORDIIJANCE ACCEPTING T113 BID OF RRUG-TTMLIS TRUCK & TRACTOR
COJIL-ANY FOR SALE TO .THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE (1) ONE, -RALF TON
PICK-UP TRUCK, AND AUTHORIZING THE ifAYOR TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE
SALE
BE IT OP.DAINED BY THE BOARD OF 001,91ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KFJVTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Krug -
Thomas Truck & Tractor Company in the amount of 'x1195.00 for sale
to the City of one (1) one-half ton pick-up truck, described as
Poll ows:
One International one-half ton pick-up truck
with standard equipment 01195.00
SECTION 2. That the liayor be, and he is hereby authorized
to enter into a contract with said Krug -Thomas Truck & Tractor
Company for the purchase of said truck as set out in Section 1
hereof, and as described in the bid of said company dated June 4,
1953.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, but it being
necessary to purchase said truck immediately in order to protect
the public health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall be in J'all force and effect from
and after its adoption.
