AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TAYLOR-iTILSOFI CHEVROLET COFfPANY
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAN_ OF ONE (1) ONE -FIALF TON PICK-UP
TRUCK AND AUTHORIZING THE N�.4YOR TO CONTRACT TO PURCFL4SE SAIIE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF Con, ISSI0IIERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Taylor -Wilson
Chevrolet.'Company in the amount of {;1291.58 for sale to the City of one
(1) one-half ton pick -Up truck described as follows:
One Aodel 3104 one-half ton pick-up equipped with Deluxe
cab with corner windows,five 700-15 6 ply tires mounted
on wide base wheels
SECTION 2. That the payor be, and he is hereby authorized to enter
into a contract with said Taylor-GTilson Chevrolet Company for the purchase
of said truck, as set out in Section 1 hereof, and as described in the bid
of said company dated June 1, 1953.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form
in which it shall be put-upon its final passage, but it being necessary
to purchase said trucks immediately in order to protect the public health
and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
